 Today in class we started our first unit. We took notes and talked about diffrent races. I took my notes with diffrent color highlighters and pens to make it pretty. I also learned that I need to get a notbooknistead of using lined loose sheets of paper.

 Today for my Friday blog I will be writing about what we did in class Friday. Today we finished watching our short videos and we finished writing in our themes for them. I do with sometimes we would work a little faster tho just because I tend to work at a faster rate then everyone else. But other then that class was easy today.

 Today in class we watched two short films. After watching the films we had to tell their themes and give a hsort summary. One of the videos was about a class of all boys was taught that 2+2=5  and one boy didnt agree with it so he got in trouble. The other short film was about a man and an elevator. 

 Today in class we talked about the rules Mr.Rease wants us to follow. No more then two bathroom breaks for a month and no cellphones. We also read 10 attitudes of successful workers. We also drew an illustration for 5 out of the 10 passages. My Favorite one was "Im my own biggest fan" because that applies t me. 

 Today in class we learned alot about annotating. We were given a short story about students having to wear prison like jumpsuits if the didn't follow the dress code at their school. A lot of parents and former students were not happy with this. The jumpsuit's were even made by some local prisoners. After reading the passage we highlighted and underlined important parts that we would need to remember. 

 Today in American Lit we learned about reading with a purpose and what it takes to read like an author. For example, determine their purpose, reread, and visualizes. I also learned that theme is the moral lession or message of the text. We were aloso taking notes the whole time and i was using many colores and diffrent types of pens because my brain works better if i use color in my notes.
